January 2008 - Kansas State University at Salina Awards PIM Aviation Insurance Five-Year Contract
Wichita, Kan. – The State of Kansas recently awarded Wichita-based PIM Aviation Insurance a five-year contract for aviation insurance broker services for Kansas State University - Salina. The contract, which has the potential for five one-year extensions, covers the school’s fleet of more than 35 aircraft.
K-State at Salina sits on a 149-acre site on the Salina Municipal Airport. Its College of Technology and Aviation is known worldwide for excellence in aviation safety and transportation programs and training that includes professional pilot, aviation maintenance, glider and helicopter. Three runways adjacent to campus accommodate the school’s fleet of modern aircraft: Cessna 150s, Cessna 172s, Beech Barons, Beech Bonanzas, a Beech King Air C90 and a Citation Jet.

Kansas State at Salina is the newest and fastest-growing of all KSU’s colleges with approximately 1,000 undergraduate students enrolled. The college places more than 95 percent of its graduates.
